The filet cut like butter and tasted like a slice of heaven. Lobster bisque was delicious too.More infoAnton & Michel RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Californian• Carmel•4.7
- LLauraCalifornia Central Coast •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was my birthday dinner pick, and just as delightful as I remembered. I ordered the warm Brussels salad to share with my husband-- gooey warm white burrata cheese and fried sprouts with thin sliced fruit (nectarine?) on top drizzled with mint oil and fig balsamic. Ahhh! Then, duck confit, which is what I came for! Beautiful crispy skin, lovely meat on a bed of slightly spicy couscous. Again, just wonderful. I traded bites with my husband, who was delighted with his ground lamb ravioli in lovely brown sauce with mint oil (not the exact name). Amazing tastes! The Barbera d'Asti that we drank with it all was just right, then blackberry tart to finish. What an evening! We got an early reservation and were seated out front and enjoyed lots of folks with dogs on the street and at neighboring tables. It was expensive, and worth it!More infoCasanova Restaurant CarmelPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Carmel•4.6
- TTrentvipSan Francisco Bay Area •12 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe dine here every time we come to Carmel and the food has always been very good. However last night’s dinner was amazing! We ordered the oyster starter and they were so good with the sauces. Then we had a BLTA? Salad. I’m not a fan of iceberg lettuce, but the flavors were just perfect and the lettuce was very crisp. For our entree we had the scallops which were so flavorful and cooked to perfection. All in all Grasing’s chef is on fire with the menu. Plus, Alan (or Allen) was our server and was delightful - friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and just the right amount of attentiveness and Mark selected the perfect glass of champagne and then wine to go with it all. One of my favorite dinners of all time.More infoGrasing'sPrice: Expensive• Californian• Carmel•4.6
