Fabulous, as always. Loved the blue crab tuna and burnt ends last night, especially!

I was new to Peruvian food and found many interesting and delicious options on the menu. The juices (my server even brought me samples) were very tasty & satisfying. Ceviche is a feature here and the desserts were excellent especially the cheesecake made from a Peruvian fruit (or was it a vegetable?) that tasted of butterscotch and had a wonderful creamy texture.

Modern Middle Eastern cuisine gets the wood-fire treatment at Lyra on West Eastland Avenue in East Nashville. Chef Hrant Arakelian and his wife Elizabeth Endicott transformed the former Holland House space into this intimate neighborhood gem where old world flavors meet contemporary techniques. Arakelian, of Armenian descent and raised in Nashville, developed his Middle Eastern-focused cooking through stints at etch, Butchertown Hall, and Rumours East. Went to Lyra for a girls night and had the best time. I’ve been to Lyra many, many times before and have *never* been disappointed or underwhelmed - it has always been a fantastic experience all around every time. Our server, Bronwyn, was fantastic & so nice. I also want to give credit to the rest of the team that night as well. The whole restaurant seems to be working as a unified team to take care of all the customers, which isn’t something I see all the time. Service, food, drink, and ambience were all 5 stars and I’d give more if I could. Great cocktails and wine selection. The flavors of the food also work in perfect harmony. There is a reason Lyra is one of my favorites in Nashville!
