My wife and I had an outstanding dinner at Luke and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. The food was exceptional. We started with raw oysters, which were incredibly fresh and perfectly prepared. For our entrées, I had the Jumbo Shrimp and Grits and my wife ordered the étouffée with pasta instead of rice. Both dishes were absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The cocktails were some of the best we’ve had in a long time, and somehow they still found a way to impress us with dessert. One of the highlights of the evening was being seated next to the kitchen. It was fascinating to watch the team work together with such professionalism, precision, and efficiency. Seeing the “magic” happen behind the scenes gave us an even greater appreciation for the meal. Everything—from the food and drinks to the service and atmosphere—was outstanding. It was one of those dining experiences where you leave struggling to think of anything that could have been better. We will absolutely be back the next time we’re in New Orleans.
