    Went here for my birthday. The steak tartare sliders were honestly the best thing I’ve ever had in my entire life. Michelin level, they need to put it on the main menu!! And the chilled wines were so good. Oysters were amazing too, as well as the caviar on top. Added this restaurant to my favorites IMMEDIATELY. I’ll be back!

    From the moment you walk in the door it's just "WOW!" This is one of the most beautiful restaurants in LA, such a vibe. The staff was amazing, our waiter added to the entire experience with his energy and fun. And then the food. The food! Everything we had was delicious. The only downside is we had a show to go to after so we weren't able to spend as much time as we'd like at Tao, but we will be back to make it an evening! Thanks for the great night!

    I brought some out of town friends so that they could experience an LA institution, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. It still feels authentic, with a genuinely positive buzz. We had such a fun evening. The menu is fantastic, the execution was good, and the service was accommodating and attentive without smothering. We could not have been happier.

    I’ve been to saffys many times and always loved it but last night was the best it’s ever been. The arayas????!!!!! OMG. The tangine was amazing, the apps were unreal. Only request: something with chocolate on the dessert menu!! 🙏
