Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Lake Bona Vista

Great gem in Kensington. The food is creative and the service excellent.

The grounds of the Deane House are beautiful. We sat outside because it was a very nice day. The house itself is also very interesting. Although we didn’t see as much of it as we would have if we’d sat inside. The food was good. The staff were amazing.

Staff was exceptional. The hostess greeted us warmly and personally. Our table location was perfect. Jack our server was personable and knowledgeable. His service was impeccable. The complimentary dessert was greatly appreciated and enjoyed.

I am very happy and pleased with the whole experience. The booking process was very friendly and accommodating. The personnel was very attentive and considerate. The food was of a good quality and tasty, though the sandwiches(bread slices) were a bit dry on the top. A good variety of savory and desserts. Most of all we were pleased with the cost. $45 per person is just right. The jam and clotted cheese are delicious. The scones are pretty good too. I can't really say anything negative. Thank you Alforno for such a wonderful very first High Tea experience.

Had the afternoon tea experience with a friend. The food was delicious! The staff are friendly and offered to take a photo of us commemorate our time. The atmosphere was outstanding as the whole hotel is themed around Oscar Wilde. Definitely will be back!
