The Deane House never disappoints. Every dish tasted incredibly fresh, with unique flavour combinations that felt thoughtful without being overwhelming. You can tell a lot of care goes into every plate - the ingredients shine, and everything is beautifully balanced and full of flavour. It’s one of those places where the food feels both comforting and elevated. Definitely worth visiting if you appreciate creative, high-quality dining. The zucchini fritters are SUPER yummy!

We had cocktails and appetizers. Both were very nicely presented and equally as tasty. The kitchen accommodated my capsaicin allergy and the waiter was very conscientious about getting the order correct. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special evening date night.

I am very happy and pleased with the whole experience. The booking process was very friendly and accommodating. The personnel was very attentive and considerate. The food was of a good quality and tasty, though the sandwiches(bread slices) were a bit dry on the top. A good variety of savory and desserts. Most of all we were pleased with the cost. $45 per person is just right. The jam and clotted cheese are delicious. The scones are pretty good too. I can't really say anything negative. Thank you Alforno for such a wonderful very first High Tea experience.

Had the afternoon tea experience with a friend. The food was delicious! The staff are friendly and offered to take a photo of us commemorate our time. The atmosphere was outstanding as the whole hotel is themed around Oscar Wilde. Definitely will be back!
