Great experience, love this place, definitely recommend. Our server was so professional. She said it was her first time serving tables by herself. But she give excellent service. And the young men were so attentive to our table as well, removing dishes etc even though they weren’t assigned to our table . Will definitely be returning.

Lighthorse is always a comforting, old school Tavern with great food and drinks. The live music was the icing on the cake. We had a very relaxing evening. The dark wood decor adds to the calming atmosphere of a great Jersey City eatery.

We always go for special occasions this time for my husband’s birthday. They did give us a free glass of sparkling wine unprompted which was a nice touch. We had the chopped salad which is always a good stater for the ribeye 32oz to share. The steaks remain spectacular! For sides mushrooms a baked potato and spinach. Don’t forget to have a blue cheese olive martinis! So glad the quality of the food and service remains excellent!
