Best Seasonal Restaurants in Chattanooga

As we walked into Stir, a happy party of diners on their way out held the door for us and said with big smiles, “You’re in for a real treat! Really great food!” We just smiled because Stir is always at the top of our wish list for dining in Chattanooga. The staff were so welcoming and attentive from the moment we walked in. We so enjoyed tonight at Stir. Both food and service were great. The wine list by the glass offers a great selection. We enjoyed glasses of Cline Pinot Noir, which paired so well with the delicious bowls of crab bisque we had first. Celery leaves, basil oil, sherry and cream blended together make this bisque extraordinary, a favorite of ours. We then shared a Caesar salad, which was so fresh, crisp and delicious with the shaved Parmesan and dressing on the side. For entrees, my husband enjoyed a special dish of Grouper Romesco with saffron rice. Though I thought about trying a different entree this time, I ordered the Halibut Piccata, which I had loved last time we had dinner at Stir. The fish is just the best ever, and the wine and butter, with farro and roast vegetables, carrots and celery, are perfectly prepared and simply yummy. Our server Kaylee was so personable and professional. Since we were trying several menu items, she timed the serving of each course so well, making our whole dining experience relaxed and enjoyable. This was our last night enjoying a long weekend in Chattanooga, and dinner at Stir made it even more memorable.

Food was exceptionally. Service perfect. Highly recommend.

Wonderful cocktail (Poison Arrow), appetizer (Fried Green Tomato with pork belly and jalapeno jelly), entree (halibut), and too full for dessert (next time).

Public House is a lovely and one of my family’s favorite places to dine. The service is impeccable and the food is wonderful!

Great atmosphere and food. Will be returning. Service was amazing as well
