Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Downey / Norwalk / Santa Fe Springs

Chef Max and his team are amazing. The food is outstanding!!! Best place to be adventurous with food. My mom does not like raw fish and neither she nor I would ever consider trying uni. But, in Chef Max’s capable hands, we did and we were pleasantly surprised. My brother who never likes sauce on his steak nearly licked the bernaise sauce off his plate. The mushroom risotto was outstanding as were the bananas and the apple fosters. My only criticism is the young woman who checked us in. She just wasn’t very friendly. If you can, ask for Marissa - she is our favorite waiter. Really knows her stuff and absolutely lovely! She takes such great care of her guests. Thank you Sky Room crew. You are the best!

A true Foodie experience!! Amazing tastes, many new flavors to explore. Eric was our server and he was exceptional. A must try restaurant and Michellin rated!

A spectacular meal. We did the Main Dining Room Tasting Menu. Every course was so carefully thought out, with unique flavors, top-quality ingredients and beautiful presentation. The trout and the lamb were two of my favorite dishes, but all were excellent. The traditional wine flight paired well and included a nice variety.

Great food, amazing dining room experience. The service was top notch. We had the ceviche, aguachile, the chicken, duck, and all were amazing. We had drinks, talked and laughed all night.

Manuela in LA’s Arts District was a highlight of our visit—terrific food and superb service. The barramundi sea bass and signature venison burger were outstanding. Don’t miss the Archie cocktail or the tequila with macerated yellow peppers. And coming from Southerners, trust us: the biscuits are to die for! We’d happily return.
