This was our second time dining at Books & Records. The first time was on a busier week night and with the close tables and live music it had a liveliness to it but not super conducive for quiet conversation. This time we visited on a Sunday evening and it was quiet and we had great table conversation. Both times our food was excellent (we love the brussel sprouts and the chicken bao buns). This time we also got the tuna crudo and it was delicious. Service is attentive and our server was kind.

Food and service were AMAZING!! Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. Presentation was immaculate. Definitely not a place I can afford to go too often, but it’s worth the splurge once in a while. Can’t wait to go back.

Such an enjoyable evening at Il Sogno! Delicious food, awesome cocktails, and beautiful live piano music. The branzino was a highlight, and the music created a romantic, relaxed atmosphere where we could still enjoy a conversation. A lovely spot for date night, a birthday celebration, or a ladies’ night out!
