This was our second time dining at Books & Records. The first time was on a busier week night and with the close tables and live music it had a liveliness to it but not super conducive for quiet conversation. This time we visited on a Sunday evening and it was quiet and we had great table conversation. Both times our food was excellent (we love the brussel sprouts and the chicken bao buns). This time we also got the tuna crudo and it was delicious. Service is attentive and our server was kind.

Wormwood absolutely blew us away. We came in for a celebration dinner and had such an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was phenomenal. The chef’s crispy-skin sea bass was easily one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time — perfectly cooked with that incredible crispy skin. I also highly recommend taking advantage of Happy Hour because it’s truly an elite time to go, but definitely follow it up with a dinner entrée. You won’t regret it. The cocktails were just as impressive — decadent, creative, and beautifully done. I especially loved the Hugo Spritz. And a huge shoutout to Marjorie behind the bar, who was so incredibly kind and generous. She treated us to a digestif cocktail at the end of our meal, which was such a thoughtful touch and the perfect way to end an already amazing celebration dinner. Savannah and Ryan were also fantastic. They had such great menu recommendations and really took the time to make the meal feel special. Their knowledge and enthusiasm genuinely brought the whole experience to life. Between the food, cocktails, service, and atmosphere, Wormwood is absolutely somewhere I’d return to. An exceptional dining experience all around.

Food and service were AMAZING!! Our waitress was super sweet and friendly. Presentation was immaculate. Definitely not a place I can afford to go too often, but it’s worth the splurge once in a while. Can’t wait to go back.
