We had a 6:30 PM reservation on a weeknight in Burlington and were seated immediately. The place was loud and high-energy, but the food and drinks completely stole the show. Everyone in our party of four ordered something different (apps through entrees), and everything was delicious. Service was a little lackluster and felt a bit like an inconvenience at times, but the fantastic meal made it a 4-star experience.

Three of us dined at the Black Rock Steakhouse while staying in the area. Everything about the dinner was great. Our waitress was tremendous. The atmosphere was very comfortable (old fashioned steak joint comfort). The three of us were able to share one of the larger steaks (cooked perfectly) and had plenty to eat with the extras that came with it and by ordering an additional side. We had a bottle of wine that was a great price (significantly less than the same wine at a different restaurant nearby)

I rarely leave reviews, but I had to for this. I ordered the filet mignon with caramelized onions, green beans, and a twice-baked potato. This meal was a 10/10 and cooked to perfection! No offense to the "other" restaurant in the area... but Tomahawk is officially our NEW go-to steakhouse!
