The Black Cow never disappoints. The menu is varied, always plenty to choose from. The service is consistent and on point. Mike (the GM) oversees the operation and ensures that the food, service, and ambiance are all good. Excellent place to dine anytime of the day!

Three of us dined at the Black Rock Steakhouse while staying in the area. Everything about the dinner was great. Our waitress was tremendous. The atmosphere was very comfortable (old fashioned steak joint comfort). The three of us were able to share one of the larger steaks (cooked perfectly) and had plenty to eat with the extras that came with it and by ordering an additional side. We had a bottle of wine that was a great price (significantly less than the same wine at a different restaurant nearby)

I rarely leave reviews, but I had to for this. I ordered the filet mignon with caramelized onions, green beans, and a twice-baked potato. This meal was a 10/10 and cooked to perfection! No offense to the "other" restaurant in the area... but Tomahawk is officially our NEW go-to steakhouse!
