Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in South San Antonio

I was seated by the window overlooking the terrace and Riverwalk. My very professional server, Tucker, greeted me warmly and offered a cocktail. From the moment I arrived he made me feel like I was Queen of the World. His wine recommendation was the perfect complement to my salmon entree. He even brought me a tasting of the wine to be sure I liked it before committing to an order. Pro tip: Order from the $49 prix fixe menu. The portions are generous and the cuisine was 5 stars. Another highlight was meeting Bruce, the restaurant owner. He came out to meet me at my table so I had the opportunity to tell him how wonderful everything was from the salad to the espresso.

Great food. Got to try the bavette and it was tasty. Suzy was an excellent server and treated us well. The bread pudding- yummy.

We had an excellent experience at Dorrego in San Antonio. The food was outstanding, beautifully prepared, flavorful, and well presented. The service was equally impressive. Our server was attentive, professional, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a great place for a nice dinner on the River Walk. We would definitely return and highly recommend Dorrego.
