The food is outstanding, and the service is exceptional. The ambience is great, however when seated on the outer part of the room (not near the fireplace) it is very dark. Definitely would recommend, especially if celebrating a special occasion.

It was Pizza Night and it did not disappoint! Absolutely delicious (we chose the meat pizza). Fresh salad and delicious fall squash to start. Debbie took great care of us! Could not have been a more enjoyable evening.

Have visited Louisa’s for over 40 years … the menu and decor are essentially the same although another room was added a few years ago allowing more people to enjoy this small gem in Cape May. Still love the smoked salmon rillettes, the crab cakes, and the chocolate bread pudding with caramel and sea salt. And yes you can still byob!
