Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Georgetown

Always good food and service. We go here before theater at UT HALL-a quick 7-10 minutes away. Happy hour has great choice of food and original drinks. Noise level VERY high and hard to have a conversation at a table for 6. Will be back again, as the food, service and convenience are hard to beat.

Lovely experience! We celebrated my sister’s 21st birthday with our family, and everything was wonderful. The service was truly exceptional. Our server was such a sweetheart and took the time to help my sister navigate the drink menu, making her special day even more memorable.

We came to Sortino’s for my 21st birthday and overall had a great experience. It did take a while for our entire party to arrive and in that time we enjoyed drinks and once our party was seated we ordered and I’m not sure if there was a miscommunication between ordering or in the kitchen but one of the members in our party ordered a the stuffed chicken purses and was brought seafood. Our party is not one to start eating if everyone doesn’t have their food and we waited an extra 10-15 mins for our entire table to get their food. I was given a complementary birthday dessert and birthday shot since it was my 21st. I would’ve liked there to be some sort of discount on the chicken plate as it took an extra amount of time, but overall we had a fantastic experience and our waiter was super friendly. I believe his name may have been Marcus but I don’t remember correctly. The food was absolutely fantastic, some of the best dishes we’ve had. The blueberry lemon drop is absolutely amazing and we definitely recommend Sortino’s!

Hidden gem. Underrated outdoor dining. Food and service are outstanding. My only complaint is there’s a level below the restaurant where guests from the hotel gather and smoke, so the smoke makes its way up to the patio. It must be THE place to smoke, because almost every time I’ve been here, I’ve smelled cigarette smoke at some point. Not something I enjoy in 2026.
