Best Vegetarian / Vegan Restaurants in Islington

I came for a relaxed lunch with my sister. The staff were accommodating, professional and welcoming, Service was excellent: Checking up on us at various points but not overbearing. We had the tasting menu which was delicious, was delivered at a good pace so that we didn't feel rushed or forgotten. The servings were generous and we took the leftovers home in a box and bag that were provided for us. At £27 a head plus 13.5% service charge, this meal was value for money. Special mention go to the Halloumi, the oyster mushroom skewers and the pickles!

Had some great indian food, the chicken tikka was perfection and it was chicken thighs not boring breast meat. The mains were Chicken Chettinad and butter chicken, each a little bit spicy just enough to taste it. The Dal Makhani was great too. Attentive service too. It's not cheap but it's not that expensive an beer for £8 a pint is very good value.

A fabulously cozy place to meet with friends. Service was friendly and had a very relaxed ambience. Food was very good. Reservation was for 90 minutes but we somehow managed to sit and catch up for double that time! Had a great time and would definitely recommend.
