It’s been 7 years since I last visited Engawa, and it was as good as I remembered. The kuromatsu course is an excellent value with the Wagyu perfectly seared. Just love everything about this place. Excellent service, great food, friendly chefs, fantastic sake selection, the atmosphere, and location. So happy there are still here!

Totally worth the money, it wasn't of some insane quality or proportions, but it was very fresh, wonderfully prepared, and 100% worth the money. Also between the decor and the music it was really fun! Only downside was the Aircon was a bit strong for me but I'm a cold person 😅

There were 3 in our party, all of whom are vegan and one is also gluten free. The staff were very helpful explaining the options that were available for us all and even suggested us changing one of the orders as they realised they could not actually make it gluten free. The food was excellent and the whole experience was superb. Thank you.
