Our server was phenomenal, and very open to feedback when my husband's steak came out overcooked. She understood that it wasn't her fault, which we made sure to express multiple times! The manager was kind enough to remove it from the bill, despite providing another steak, and that was also greatly appreciated. As always, the food and experience were both exceptional. Further, our waiter, Giovani, provided what was quite possibly the best experience we have ever had in fine dining. His professional manner, attention to detail, menu knowledge, anticipation of our needs before we knew we needed them and his friendly and caring presence all contributed to an exceptional experience. We will absolutely be returning to dine at Monterey Bay and highly recommend anyone doing so ask for Giovani, as we will be. It felt like walking into the grand ballroom on the Titanic with the incredible ornate ceilings and decadence everywhere.
