Truly a unique venue with its horse centric location. The horse barn is right across the entryway from the bar and restaurant. The owners were on site and very involved. They even gave us a short tour of the barn to meet some of the horses after dinner. Food and wine were both very good.

We are Matteo and Francesca, a Roman couple—husband and wife—who have brought to San Salvatore Monferrato what we do best: Roman cuisine. He’s in the kitchen, she’s in the dining room, just like in the old-fashioned taverns of yesteryear. At the heart of our success is Matteo, a chef born and trained in Rome. Driven by passion for cooking and having grown up in the kitchens of major hotels, he boasts significant international experience: General Manager of the Broadway Café, and Executive Chef at the Hotel Les Relais and the Radisson Blu in Bamako. Today, Matteo is here, at the stove at Panza Piena. He has a pioneering spirit and a keen eye for ingredients, with a philosophy centered on healthy, delicious, and above all, ethical cuisine: respect for ingredients, traditions, places, and people. No cold reinterpretations: just authentic recipes, quality ingredients, and generous portions—just as Romans would agree.

Exceptional experience ! The service was outstanding—friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was incredible, with every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. The open kitchen with a grill added a dynamic touch, allowing us to watch the chefs in action. The location was also stunning, with a charming atmosphere. Overall, it was a perfect dining experience that I highly recommend.
