Best Italian Restaurants in El Llano

Had dinner for our first night in CDMX during the World Cup…the decor and vibe for a Tuesday night was perfect! It was lively and there was just enough World Cup decor to let you know what time it was! We ordered a bottle of wine for the table (3 of us) and that with the bread was a perfect start. Our main sister was Adrian and he did amazing job explaining all the drinks and dishes that were brought to our table. We ordered the Caesar salad as a shared app because I had seen many videos on TikTok recommending it. However, our lettuce wasn’t as fresh as we would’ve liked and I was surprised that we received whole sardines on the salad vs the use of a molcajete to incorporate them into the dressing this and the use of lemon made the salad taste like fresh sea food, so if you like sea food you will love the salad, otherwise, that is something to take into consideration. But, the idea and presentation was still nice. We ordered the Kobe steak, short rib pasta and carbonara pasta for the table. They even brought the steak out for us to see before they cooked it! All dishes were amazing! The steak melted in our mouth. You may want to take into consideration that a cast iron skillet is brought to the table for you to prepare the steak on your own so by the time we were done doing that our other dishes were cold, yet, the flavor was there and they were all amazing! The service was great..there was always at least 2 waiters at our table at any given time constantly checking in on us. For dessert we opted for the Tiramisu Martini and a Carajillo and the rest of our bottle :) Both drinks were delicious! Service was fast, friendly and there are tons of great spaces for photo ops! This is now my 3rd time at this restaurant and every time has been a surprise! In the evening they have a live piano and weekends there’s a buffet and every other day there are great package deals for prepaid meals!
