    What a great find for exciting food and cocktails in DTLA. Baar Baar brings great Indian flavors with a modern spin, serving food that is beautiful and delicious. Personal favorites were the Paneer Pinwheel and the Cauliflower. The cocktail menu brings variations of traditional cocktails with an Indian twist, like the Old Fashioned with Ghee-washed bourbon and saffron syrup. We tried two of them, including the Old Fashioned, and they were both very good.

    I am not qualified to speak on authentic Indian cuisine, but I can tell when ingredients are fresh, (which makes a noticeable difference), when food is expertly prepared and especially if the results are absolutely sublime. It's been a very long while that I have experienced food that tastes like nothing I've ever had before and made me question if I've ever had anything that tastes so incredibly wonderful. Yet this was my experience here at Riwaaz, something I will never forget. I will come back to Los Angeles just to dine here again. It's a destination restaurant not to be missed!
