Always a lovely place to eat, the staff, some clearly youngsters taking their first job, were polite and efficient. No cauliflower cheese left, but didn’t detract from a 10/10 roast dinner!!

I’d only been for breakfast before and found out how good the food and service was. So decided to take my wife and another couple for lunch. I’m really glad I did the food was amazing, they said it was a new menu it was really tasty and warm, we couldn’t it and the desserts were wonderful. The service and atmosphere was also excellent.

Had a wonderful family dinner here recently. The food was genuinely delicious, though the kitchen seemed to be under a bit of pressure, resulting in a noticeably longer wait than expected. The front-of-house staff were also stretched thin, but when the cooking is this good, it’s easy to see why the place gets so busy. Great effort by the whole team under the circumstances—we will definitely be back

In town for one night, I made a reservation at 4pm for 6pm. Upon arrival, it was a busy Saturday evening at it wasn’t clear if they could honour my booking for a bar seat. As it was, they made a cosy place for me by the window. The service was excellent, with all staff being friendly and courteous. The food was excellent value for money (lamb burger, followed by plum and pistachio tart) as were for 2-for-1 cocktails. Throughly recommended!

Absolutely amazing experience. Super fresh and tasty dishes that were both authentic and offered some modern/ fusion twists. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the overall atmosphere was relaxed with a go at your own pace mentality which centred around the amazing quality food they dish out from the kitchen, we absolutely loved the mix grill and the special curry. Also extremely well priced and quick service at the bar with a range of drinks available for both alcohol and soft. I will be sure to return and bring more friends
