Best Continental Restaurants in Far Rockaway

My friend and I went for lunch during restaurant week and we were blown away by the choices and the price for the lunch. The food was absolutely amazing and had plenty to even take home left overs. Will definitely be going back soon!

The prime rib was outstanding, rivaled a steakhouse portion and quality without a steakhouse price!!! The halibut was equally delicious and the accompaniments on both entrees were generous and tasty. I’d like to mention even their complimentary bruschetta and bread selections (served by staff) is a nice touch to round out a complete meal. As always, service and attention to details was fabulous. Bridget added to the experience with her professional manner and quick service. Lino is always there with a smile and welcoming attitude which is why we enjoy returning and recommending Davenport Press. There are many options for going out near Garden City but at times other restaurants are inconsistent in service, food quality and preparation, here we are never disappointed. Thank you for a great meal & service. Laura F.

The staff at the Polo Lounge are incredible. It's worth dining here for the food alone, honestly, but the level of service carries the whole experience well past 100% satisfaction and leaves us feeling so appreciated every time we visit. We will be back, again and again. Our favorite place to dine out. It's not even close.

I’ve been to Comet Club twice and I’ve been very pleased both times. The restaurant is very pretty, the food is great and the drinks are greater!

Always a pleasure. Food, staff, and decor are so welcoming. Love Tavern 18
