This was a fantastic event at Tamayo, Chef Richard Sandoval was a fantastic story teller and was basking in his signature restaurant founded 25 years ago in 2004. I have personally been coming to Tamayo for all of those 25 years. I have never been disappointed in the service and quality of the food and drink, and last night for the celebration of the Dia de los Muertos. Special drinks, food and stories from Chef were all on the menu and the applause for Chef Sandoval’s staff was refreshing. Great night and great times had by all.

Wow! We had the best service, the ambiance is amazing, they have a great Happy Hour 3-6, including mocktails, and you can't go wrong with any of their tacos. I had the Birriaha (sp?) and my friend the pork shoulder and we were both blown away. It's no wonder this restaurant has a bib gourmand Mich Star recommendation!

Everything was a delight. Our favorites were the Ny strip taco and the sweet potato appetizer (spicy!) but the caesar was also a fun surprise. It was big and had more of a honey mustard dressing with a caesar tang but still delicious.

The décor is absolutely stunning, the food is extraordinary, and the service is excellent! It is truly worth every penny. We are already thinking about when we can come back, and we have been telling our family and friends what a wonderful place this is. Definitely a place worth visiting and recommending.
