Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Midwood

Very interesting menu, everything was good and many dishes were standouts. the dim sum was a brilliant fusion dish, the reuben ravioli not as much but still tasty. My personal favorite was the lemon lemon lemon pasta -- how do they do it? Can't replicate this at home. Fluke crudo perhaps tied for first. You can get Portlandia-level backstories on the food if interested. If you love drinks spend time with the bartender and let her tell you what she knows about Amaro. Waitstaff uniformly lovely. Atmosphere lively, I would vote for a few softer surfaces to absorb the din, but we had no trouble enjoying great conversation with friends in a cozy booth. Everyone gets one!

Always a great dining experience at Fragole. Highly recommend ordering the Cavolo Nero salad to start: kale, apples, walnuts, cheese dressed with a creamy dressing is dynamite. For pasta: Rigatoni Firenze and Amatriciana, excellent. Just tried Chicken Cutlet Milanese, delicious. Tiramisu for dessert is amazing. Great wine list as well. Ambience, value and service keep me coming back!

Legit Neapolitan Pizza! Look like any pizzeria from Naples. Good job!!

I appreciate the wonderful service that the waiter provided to me and the accommodations as well. This restaurant has a wonderful menu that includes all my favorite dishes such as minestrone soup, house salad and my spinach with garlic and mushrooms and onions. The veal Parmesan was so tender and has plenty marinada sauce and cheese. It was so delicious. It was plenty grilled vegetables. Ver tasty

It was wonderful the manager could not have been nicer, the staff was very pleasant and the food was delicious, can’t wait to go back
