The Monarch is a true local gem. We dined at 7:30 pm on October 22, 2026 and received stellar service. We highly recommend to start with the charred brussel sprouts. The dish was packed with subperb flavor. The frites are superb! We indulged in both the apple pie dish and the chocolate cake, the gold leaf on the ice cream elevated the presentation. I wanted a mocktail, and left it to the bartender to create a drink and it was quite delicious. Our only disappointment is sitting in one of the booths with the curtains - cold air was blowing on us throughout the meal. We wish there had been a way to control the cold air blowing on us and still enjoy the booth's atmosphere. However, it was still a wonderful evening. A shout out to the staff that worked that evening. Thank you for a charming evening.

Apparently they just updated their menu for the Fall and it was one of the best dinners my wife and I have had! The shrimp for the shrimp cocktail truly were colossal (so many places advertise "jumbo" or "colossal" shrimp but you get these tiny little shrimp)! And the lemongrass cocktail sauce with the fresh horseradish (truly fresh) was outstanding. We ordered the filet with crab claws and crispy fried mac n cheese. The filet was cooked perfectly & served with a truffle bearnaise sauce. This along with the combination of two (smaller) snow crab claws & crispy fried mac and cheese made it a wonderful culinary delight. I must single out the crispy fried mac and cheese as it was so tasty and the crunchiness of the outer layer so enjoyable that it made for the perfect addition to this plate. I could almost imagine eating these as a stand alone side they were so good! Just a near perfect meal and we hope this particular item stays on the menu for some time!

This was our first time at the Chophouse. The moody mid century modern vibes were awesome. From the appetizers to dessert, the food was incredible. Our steak was like butter, beyond delicious. Worth every penny, highly recommend!
