We went to Charlottesville for our anniversary and made Mockingbird our anniversary dinner. We were not disappointed, the food was fantastic, service was great, unfortunately do not remember our servers name, but he was awesome. The ambience of the restaurant was perfect for a nice meal, not too loud, able to have conversation without raising our voices. If there was one thing I would call out would have been my drink, started with an old fashioned, this could be personal preference, but as soon as he put it on the table, I knew it was not going to be the best. Too much ice, not one or two cubes, so it was going to be watered down, which it was. With that said, it absolutely did not ruin the night and we were already talking about going back before we even left the table. If it says anything, everything was so good, we didn't even get pictures to share, I guess you will have to find out yourself.

Host and wait staff anticipated our arrival, seated us nicely at the restaurant, were attentive, fed us great food, and provided live jazz in the background!
