They just continue to deliver. Spectacular food - some of it reads a bit “fusion” but just trust them. It’s clever, beautifully prepared and presented and absolutely delicious. Cheese custard profiteroles? What? Well yeah. But my goodness they were good. The lavish grating of truffle didn’t hurt either. We had sirloin too - that’ll live long in the memo. Cooked to perfection, seasoned so subtly and wonderfully it needed nothing extra. Worth our total bill just for that. Scallops in dashi? Sensational. And the veg…could be centrepiece dishes in their own. The care and time to execute dishes like this is exceptional. I can take or leave carrots, but not these. These, were special. Service was mainly provided by Luke. Calm, quietly professional and attentive while somehow managing to only be where we needed him when we needed him. What an evening. I can’t believe we left it so long. This place does wonderful food at a very fair price. You’ll leave full, happy and relaxed and likely will have tried a combination you won’t have considered before…but will wish you had.

This has got to be our all-time favourite restaurant. We were here recently for our wedding anniversary and the experience was exquisite.

What an incredible dining experience at Midsummer House. The staff were outstanding and a true credit to the management team. The food was creative and technically impressive, yet firmly rooted in classical foundations. It was a truly memorable meal. It’s wonderful to see Midsummer House building on its remarkable heritage while confidently pushing towards the future, we enjoyed every course and it’s safe to say midsummer lived up to expectation.
