Best British Restaurants in Guilsborough

Having eaten at several other Ivy restaurants, including the original one & the Ivy Asia Oriental, St Paul's, our expectations were high and we were not disappointed at all. The interior is warm and inviting, beautiful art deco theme to create a great ambience. Food and service excellent, as expected. We were not rushed at all, a decent pause between each course. Highly recommend.

Four of us went for the Tasting Menu on the ‘High Table’ for my Birthday. All I can say is that it was incredible. I’ve eaten at many of the UK’s Michelin starred restaurants and tried their tasting menus at 3 times more expensive than ‘Ember’ and they weren’t a patch on our food last night. Wow!…Just Wow….Go, it’s brilliant.

Came here for the second time with the family in October after visiting in summer for my birthday lunch. On both occasions the restaurant service was top notch specifically waiting staff having good knowledge of the menu and what was available, and being polite and smiley and attentive. We sat inside and the ambience was just perfect on a Saturday afternoon, warm , inviting, cosy and just a great ambience tbh. The food was outstanding and I’m a fussy person. The food came out steaming hot and all together and was one of The best smash burgers I’ve had. We will be revisiting to sample more of the menu!!

Friendly rural pub with a good range of beers (real ales and lagers) and excellent food. The quality of the food exceeded my expectations with a full menu and everything cooked to perfection. Will definitely return.
