About this restaurant

The Liberty NYC is open from 11:00am during the week and 10:00am on weekends. We offer Happy Hour EVERY DAY from 4-8pm, which includes our famous $12 mules of various styles, house wine for $8, house beer for $7, Blue Point Oysters for $9, and assorted small bites for $13!

Our Bottomless Brunch is also not one to miss from 10:00am until 4:00pm every Saturday and Sunday.

Our all-day dining menu includes breakfast, gluten-free and vegetarian options. Select Standard Seating for indoor dining or Outdoor for outdoor dining.

The Liberty embodies the spirit of the city she serves; the liberty to be one’s self. The Liberty is located at 29 West 35th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues, just steps from Herald Square, the Empire State Building, and Macy's. The space is elegant but informal with soaring 18ft ceilings. The venue is a marriage of the classic and the contemporary of New York.

Food was meh. Appetizer arrived with the mains. (Us and table next to us.) Noise was off the charts. Service not great. My waiter knocked my fork to the floor and didn’t offer to replace it. Overall for the NYC prices, would not recommend.

We made a reservation for a Saturday at noon and walked into a completely peaceful and quiet restaurant. We were doing the bottomless brunch and enjoyed the drinks and atmosphere and had food and service in a quick amount of time. Our server was friendly and she offered for us to switch from mimosas to Bellinis and back again. Would return!

We were accommodated even though we were early.tried to order 2 different menu items but were told they were out. Waitress was not very attentive. We’re seated very close to front. They opened large doors to move tables outside which made it very cold at our table

The Liberty exceeded all my expectations of a pre concert dinning experience. Food, atmosphere, and service all deserve 5 stars. I will definitely return for another great experience.

We visited The Liberty NYC on a Saturday when there was a huge demonstration on the streets so the place was almost empty. The waitress was courteous and welcoming. After our party of four was seated we were immediately given our menus and the water poured. We were surprised by the lunch special low price and three of us chose it. The other person in our party chose Eggs Benedict served with salmon and a small salad. The others of us chose wraps - two did the buffalo chicken wrap and I chose the turkey club wrap. All of us chose a mixed salad as the side though there were many other choices as well. Everyone who had the wraps agreed that the they were generously sized and tasted fresh. The salads were also fresh. Drinks were included in the special so overall it was a very good value. The service was timely and personable, the food was fresh and tasty, there were good choices on the menu and the price was reasonable so what was there not to like ?
