At The Bollo, everything is homemade and the menu is entirely governed by what"s in season. Our menu majors on hearty, warming dishes over the colder months; dry aged rib eye steak, warming stews & pies. We source our dishes from top-end suppliers.
At The Bollo, what we cook is governed by what's available in season. There's nothing like eating fresh, home-made dishes in the Summer sun. We've got oodles of benches and awnings for when, inevitably, the English sun gets mercurial.

    Was a special Sunday Roast lunch with my son for his birthday. Lovely service of the patron lady. Quick order and roast (1x chicken and 1x beef) was also quickly served. Possibly could have been slightly warmer. Gravy was good but visually and taste was more of a quick instant rather kitchen-cooked. Sat outside in shade, although not everyone could do so, as at least one awning broken. Also the tables outside lacked a bit of love and cleanliness. Otherwise good value for money and lovely patrons.

    It was my first visit to Bollo House. I ate outside as the weather was nice and it was a very nice atmosphere with a very nice friendly waitress. I ‘ve just moved into the area and think I will be a frequent visitor.

    The pub was almost empty when everywhere else in the vicinity was full for Sunday lunch. All you need to know.

    Visited with friends for dinner and drinks. Excellent customer service from our waitress, making helpful recommendations on our meal choices. Delicious food of a high standard. A very relaxed atmosphere in the pub. We will definitely be returning.

    We tried this based on reviews of food. The service from Eggsie was fabulous. She was very upbeat anf helpful. The starter hummus with padron peppers was very tasty. The chicken pie with leeks /cabbage again really tasty. They were out of curry so had the crab pasta which was lacking in sauce/crab but this was compensated when mentioned. Would go again
