The atmosphere is pretty quite, spacious. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't good otherwise we could have lunch in the terrace The food was absolutely delicious, especially duck confit. Its texture was perfect and the duck skin was crispy as I like. The waiters were friendly and helpful with the menu.

We were the only people in the restaurant yesterday, which suited us perfectly. Bogdan was a fine front of house manager. The right amount of attention without being overly attentive. Food was great. We will certainly return.

We had a wonderful evening meal on a Saturday night for a birthday celebration at Wilde. It's a hidden gem, tucked away on a residential road near Golders Hill Park. First impressions... the decor is beautiful with lots of natural wood, sophisticated lighting and a glorious glass wall looking out onto outdoor tables and greenery. Service friendly and attentive. They recommended the bread /Swedish style flatbread with fennel seeds - all made on site, which we very much appreciated. We had a delicious 3 course meal with stand outs being the King Prawn starter, with a chili and tomato sauce packed with flavour and a delicious goats cheese special too. The Calamari my husband had was beautifully light and crisp, perfect. He had the lamb shank main (very good) and I was very happy with the halibut special - perfectly cooked with a carrot and ginger purée. The mango salsa was delicious and complemented the dish well. I think they pride themselves on taking good ingredients and cooking them well. Desserts were a little pricey at £9, but absolutely worth it... The tiramisu was delicious, the crème brulee the BEST I have had in the last 30 years with a fantastic crunchy top, and a luscious rich custard underneath with a subtle citrus flavour, and the chocolate brownies stood out too with an ice cream that actually tastes of real vanilla. Ok Thursday and Saturday they have pianist - he was playing delightfully in the background on the Bluthner grand piano, such a change from the usual restaurant experience. And... the toilets were (these things are important!) not only clean but of 5* hotel level of luxury!! Lasting memories... delicious food and wine, wonderful service, spaciousness, high ceilings and quiet elegance. Highly recommend if you're in the area - only 6-7 minutes drive from Hampstead/Hampstead Heath and near Kenwood house so would also be a wonderful place to have lunch or dinner if there for the day, or even if you are not, worth seeking out!

I went to the restaurant on the very first day of its Sunday Lunches. The roast beef - Rib Eye - was fantastic. 2 thick slices of meat, incredible gravy, roast potatoes, 2 large Yorkshire Puddings, glazed carrots, parsnips green beans and broccoli on a very large plate, it needed a very large plate, was so delicious, so filling and excellent value for money. My starter was also very delicious but I really went to try the roast and that was everything that I had hoped for. Finally I had coffee I just didn’t have room for dessert. The service was very friendly, courteous and efficient leaving time between courses to digest the food. The atmosphere relaxed and with a very calming background of music What more could you ask for in a Sunday lunch and I can really recommend that people try it.

A friend and I decided that we would like to experience afternoon tea at Wilde so we made a booking for 15:15 on Friday the 27th March. When we arrive, we were greeted in the most friendly manner by both the reception area and the Restaurant itself. We were taken to our seats and the table was laid out in the most elegant of manners with beautiful crockery glasses everything to make Afternoon Tea that little bit better. We decided we would try the full experience which included Prosecco. We were both given our own individual small bottles of the most deliciously light drink. After that we were presented with a starter of baked camembert on top of a cooked mixture of vegetables very similar to a ratatouille and absolutely delicious. Apparently this surprise, it is not included on the menu, changes so it may be completely different on another day. We were given a choice from a list of teas to have with our meal. Afternoon tea then arrived on a 3 tier platter consisting of sandwiches, assorted sweet cakes and scones with clotted cream and jam which we then began to attack with great fervour. We were talking and eating and after being totally full we realise that it was now 17:15 in the evening and the time had just flown by. The Restaurant itself was so calm and so relaxing time flew by. The summarise I can honestly say the service was excellent, the food was delicious, the atmosphere in the restaurant was totally relaxing and made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable.

This was our first time and will certainly not be our last. Quiet, but with a piano tinkering in the background, it was a very pleasant evening. Service was impeccable. Thank you Vitor for your attention. The food excelled expectations. Well presented, perfectly sized portions and very tasty. It is early days for this restaurant but in the coming days i am sure its reputation will spread.
