Food was good. The prawn paccheri were great and the croquettes were fantastic. Service however was really odd. We weren't given much of a chance to read the menu before being asked what we wanted. Then there was some resistance when we wanted to keep bread during the meal -- odd when we had a pasta with a sauce. One plate was cleared before another guest had finished. Just a bit odd.

My friend and I went for brunch at 12pm and not eating before I was quite hungry and looking forward to eating. My friend ordered the oxtail pancakes and I ordered the ham and cheese omelette which came with a slice of sourdough. My friend's food looked and tasted good and even though it was small was apparently filling. I was underwhelmed by my omelette firdt by looks - it arrived on a slice of toast in the middle of the plate. It wasnt big and I was still hungry aftwerwards ordering a cappucino to fill me up. The food was okay, I had to season with more salt and pepper. I think they could've added some lovely salad on the plate to dress it up and also to fill you up. My friend and I brunch once a month trying out new places and I thought this omelette was not good value for money. Away from the food it was great service, we had a lovely waitress and I think the manager even topped up our water and it was also good atmosphere. I would likely go back for drinks but not for brunch at this stage.

It was a quiet summer evening so the vibe was low key. As a first time customer I struggled to see how to get in. The glass doors are super heavy to open and have to be shut for the (very welcome) air conditioning. My friend had exactly the same problem when she arrived. Service was good and attentive. Ordered a drink and some bread and when it arrived (£6) it was one small mini loaf. It was warm, but very oily inside for some reason and not very nice. I ordered chicken schnitzel which was great and a friend had prawns which she enjoyed. We didn't go for pudding. One thing to note - the wine list has tiny pictograms to show the price of what you're choosing - representing a glass, carafe or bottle. I thought I'd chosen a bottle for £33 but it was actually £50 - £33 was the carafe price. Just something to be aware of.

Nice venue , and the staff were great The food was ok , but if I’m honest let the oak e down a tad. I had the croquettes for starters. Presentation was great but lacked taste and texture . The main was a simple but lovely fish finger sandwich
