Bringing new life to St James’s with classic French dishes and modern creations, the Saint Jacques seasonal menu blends tradition and innovation to suit all tastes – from Richard’s legendary tableside prepared Steak Tartare to a decadent fondant au chocolat.

Saint Jacques’ interior amalgamates the characteristics of a warm traditional brasseries with a vibrant and fresh aesthetic.                       This was our 2nd visit in the last 2 years and a totally different experience than before. Found it less welcoming, the service environment a little cool; a low energy vibe. There were only 4-5 tables being serviced. Food was fine; just average.

                      Very disappointing service. Had to ask for everything from ordered glass of champagne to spoon for the lobster soufflé. They never checked on us unless we waved them over. It was a quiet lunch. The boss was on vacation. The door was open to the outside and the cigarette smoke was constant. This was my 3 rd time there and remembered it much the same. Went there as favored customer suggested it and thought I would give it another try. We sat an hour after our dessert with no-one asking if we wanted anything-felt invisible. Maybe cause we were to old gals have a nice lunch in Mayfair

                      Saint Jacques is a wonderful place to eat and is conveniently situated in central London. The restaurant is a great place, the service is always to a high standard and the quality of good is very high. As for the cost, it was truly reasonable and highly competitive.
