@rice_bird_nyc is such a gem ✨ it’s a super popular spot for takeout 🥡 but they also have a cozy indoor seating area if you wanna dine in 🍽️ we loved their clay pot, got the classic one with shrimp 🍤, meat 🥩, and salmon 🍣 and omg it was so flavorful 🔥 you can mix in some soy sauce 🥢 and ginger for an extra kick too! every bite felt like a warm, comforting hug 🥹 we also couldn’t resist the crispy fried chicken 🍗super crunchy on the outside, juicy inside, and the portion size was generous 👌 and don’t sleep on their baos, they come in a bunch of flavors and are perfect for sharing (or not sharing tbh 😂) definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to! 📍Rice Bird NYC @rice_bird_nyc : 334 E 9th St, New York, NY 10003

@rice_bird_nyc is a Cantonese restaurant specializing in clay pots. It’s a great spot in the East Village. You get a lot of value and the clay pot includes a lot of different proteins and vegetables as well. A great variety for the price. The Taiwanese crispy chicken was fantastic and very flavorful. The staff was very friendly, and I enjoyed talking to him and learning about the different foods. Here is everything I had: Hong Kong Style Milk Tea Roast Duck Smiley Bun with cucumber and scallion Taiwanese Crispy Salted Chicken Ricebird Special Claypot - Chinese Sausage, Eel, Beef, Chicken, Shrimp, Salmon, Broccoli, tofu, ginger, marinated egg Follow @dan_nycfoodie for more invaluable food and drink recommendations in New York City and other places around the world!! #ricebird #milktea #claypot #sausage #beef #chicken #taiwanese #duck #tofu #foodie #eatwithfoodiez #foodieswithgoodtaste #thefoodieinitiative
