    This was my first visit to Dante and I can assure you it will not be my only visit. I was impressed from the moment we arrived with a very kind and polite Valet. Phil welcomed us in and he showed us to our table that was set beautifully. Our server John came to the table with a tray of 4 glasses of champagne to wish my wife and I a happy anniversary. From there the culinary experience began and every course was truly delicious. The evening ended with a couple of desserts and me knowing that it will not be too long before I return to Dante. Thank you to Chef Dante and the entire staff for such a wonderful time.

    Service and food were great but seating is on top of each other. If we wanted to share conversations with strangers we would have invited strangers to eat with us.

    One of the best restaurants in Cleveland! Food was incredible, and Brian, our server made our date night very special. You must try this place.

    The noise level was very loud. It was difficult to talk at the table. The food was very rich. The ribeye was not tender and smothered with too much sauce. The Bolognese pasta was delicious. Salmon was excellent but the wood ear mushrooms served with were not compatible. The food was served with odd combinations. Service was well meaning, but frantic and terse.

    We did the tasting menu like always. So fun. But the pacing of the courses was soooo slow. Not “leisurely meal” slow, but “done with the course for 20 minutes” slow. And when there are 5 courses, it was a lot of waiting. Also, the man that brought out each course and was to explain what everything was didn’t always know. He said the words of what it was called but didn’t really explain, and couldn’t answer our questions. Also, we told them it was a birthday, they commented as we arrived, but the server forgot and even when mentioned, they blew it off and literally said “well next time you get two candles” That being said, the food was great and we mostly had a nice evening.
