Welcome to Daniel Gabor’s

At Daniel Gabor’s, the focus is on craftsmanship, creativity, and genuine hospitality. Our menu is chef-driven and ever-evolving — inspired by European traditions, German heritage, and modern influences from around the world, including subtle touches of Asia.

Nearly everything is made in-house, from our sourdough breads to the sauces and stocks that build the foundation of each dish. We also feature an in-house dry-aging program for select meats and offer a bar program built on handcrafted cocktails, curated wines, and distinctive spirits.

Our space combines the warmth of an upscale Alpine hunting cabin with a lively, modern atmosphere. Upbeat contemporary music — the kind you’d hear in today’s European restaurants — sets the tone for a relaxed yet refined dining experience that’s inviting, energetic, and uniquely our own.

Menu was limited. We went on a Saturday night at 630 and when we went to order an appetizer they were out of it. They were out of a few other items as well. Asked for potato pancakes and was told there was no chef on premises. The saurekraut and red cabbage were not hot and mushy. We didn't eat it. The Veal was good . We drove an hour to go to a German restaurant and this is not what we expected.

The service and the food were impeccable. It truly reminded me of being in a European bistro. Eric was awesome with taking great care of us and John Paul made a great impression upon us, as well. However, the food was the star of the evening. My husband stated the schnitzel was as good (or better) than what he had in his last visit to Leipzig; so kudos to the chef. We will most definitely be back.

Perhaps were were spoiled by the really good restaurant previously in this space but the food was disappointing. Mushroom pate was overly sweet. Red cabbage and sauerkraut sides had a strange taste and were inedible. Schnitzel was okay but lacked flavor. Desserts were very good. We cannot explain why this restaurant has gotten such good reviews.

We tried the mussel, mushroom and meatball appetizers; all 3 were incredible. For dinner we ordered the short ribs and it did not disappoint, so tender and juicy. We are heading back for Oktoberfest. Wonderful experience.

Our first time at Daniel Gabor restaurant. Our waiter was extremely friendly and very polite. Telling us of the different menus. We choose Magical dining. Food was excellent. Three course. Brought to our table within a very timely manner. The owner came and chatted with us as well. We will come back when we’re in town again. Thanks

Daniel Gabor's is one of my favorite restaurants in the Orlando area. Everything that my friends and I ordered last night was superb, especially the schnitzels and the unusual mushroom pate. I can't imagine that any bakery or restaurant in this part of the state makes an apple strudel as good as the one we shared here.
