Ate here for first time in a while and it seems it has improved after dropping in value over the passed few months. Good service.

A nice lunch with friends. We only had one course and they served us with one wrong dish but this was soon corrected. Very polite staff. It took a little while to get a server’s attention to ask for our bill but, all in all, we enjoyed the food and our visit. I would highly recommend the cheese soufflé!

Hi, thank you for your feedback. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your lunch with friends, found the team polite and would highly recommend the cheese soufflé. We're sorry for the mix-up with one of the dishes and the delay in getting the bill, but we're pleased these didn't spoil your visit. We hope to see you again soon.

I ordered Pirk Belly a dish I have had on numerous occasions previously but was very disappointed. The skin was soft and not crispy & the small portion was really just fat. On paying the bill I told the waiter & he did offer to get me another dish but was on way out.

I returned as guest of friends after a bad experience a few weeks back with dire service. Yet again the service was very, very slow. One of us had to chase around to attract attention and get our main course. The difference this time was the great charm of the waiting staff who were apologetic and really lovely. Food was very good as before. Sort yourself out guys!

I like this chain but it can be variable. A group of us went to this branch and the service was truly dreadful. We had to ask several times for any service at all - water, wine - and then to get them to take food order. It took 90 minutes to get our first course. The serving staff were pleasant but seemed to be very disorganised . Anyhow almost all was forgiven when the food eventually arrived as we all found our dishes very good indeed. Moral of tale - don’t go here if you want good service but if that doesn’t bother you - food is great and excellent value for money

Hi, thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the service fell short of expectations and that you experienced long waits and difficulty getting attention from the team. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the food, but we recognise that great food should be matched by great service; we'll use your comments to improve and hope you'll give us another chance in the future.

The delay in being served and then waiting for the food was not what we expected at a lunchtime. The restaurant was not all that busy so it must have been that they were short staffed, however, we were not warned of this, which would have made a positive difference at the start of our dining.
