@casaoranyc is serving up traditional yet elevated Venezuelan plates in an intimate and charming space. From small plates to larger format dishes for sharing, Casa Ora has flavorful and bold staples. The plantain chips and guac are a must for the table. The arepitas were all stuffed with different toppings from bean and cheese to shredded beef. The ceviche was bursting with unique flavors and was so fresh. The Asado Negro served with arepas and sauces was a standout. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection. The staff were so friendly, and the ambience was perfect for date night or a special occasion. Casa Ora was also the Venezuelan restaurant to be featured on the Michelin Guide, and we see why!

Tried my first Venezuelan breakfast at @lullasnyc and it has become my new favorite style of breakfast. They cover all the breakfast bases with great coffees, sweet and savory pastries made in-house, and breakfast bites packed with South American flavors. They’re the little sister of @casaoranyc new to the neighborhood in Brooklyn, and definitely worth a visit. Go say high, grab a coffee and try the pistachio croissant, Frances sandwich, and Mandocas. #lullasnyc #venezuelanfood #breakfast #breakfastinbrooklyn #southamericanfood #nyceats
