    As someone of Middle Eastern descent, a foodie, and a professional in the high-end restaurant industry, I can confidently say this is one of the best Middle Eastern restaurants in the LA/OC area. I met a friend visiting from out of town, and although we had plenty of great options, we specifically chose Ammatoli. We drove all the way from Santa Monica for dinner, and it was absolutely worth the drive and the traffic. We arrived a little early, and the hostess was incredibly accommodating. She made every effort to seat us ahead of our reservation, greeting us with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. We ordered the spicy hummus, mujadara, fattoush, shawarma, and half garlic chicken. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Freshly baked Pita was amazing. We finished with the pistachio baklava,- flaky, buttery, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of syrup. It was simply delightful. The service was prompt, professional, and attentive throughout the meal. Our server Frances made excellent recommendations and ensured we had everything we needed. The ambiance was lovely, with soft Middle Eastern music playing in the background, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back again and again. There are so many more dishes on the menu we can’t wait to try. Everything coming out of the kitchen looked fantastic

    Ammatoli is our favorite restaurant in Long Beach. The food is always amazing. Everything is fresh and seasoned perfectly. Chef is a genius! We rarely order a dinner entree. Instead we order 3-5 mezzas, salads, lentil soup, LOTS of pita, and we often save room for dessert. We have NEVER had a bad meal or experience at Ammatoli. Our server last night, Alex, was excellent! We usually have very good service, but Alex really understands the menu, and she helped us order the perfect amount of food last night. She was also extremely attentive and kind. Alex is a terrific server!

    Love dining here! Took my family for a casual dinner and it was nice to see that they extended their dining area, making it feel more expansive inside! We ordered the fresh pita, which is a must to go with the mezze dips. We tried the roasted beets, spicy hummus and muttabal which were all a hit! The hummus has Serrano oil, so beware of the spice level if you’re eyeing that. Next up was the family style feast that came with 6 skewers, rice and roasted veggies. Everything was made fresh and with love that you can taste.

    We had a good meal! Really nice place. Felt welcomed and was not rushed out. We were there for a business meeting and it went smoothly and as planned. We will be back!
