About Last Knife (ALK) is the Godfrey Hotel Hollywood's main floor full-service restaurant. We feature Brasserie-Style cuisine with a variety of options presented by Chef Olivier Rousselle . Join us in our beautiful al fresco and sun-lit dining room where we currently offer breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Weekends are filled with great experiences such as Jazz Dinner on Saturdays. It's the perfect spot for a morning pick me up or an evening escape!

Slow service. Friendly but slow. Good was fine. Pork chops were tough. Atmosphere design is nice. Otherwise, very average food and higher price.

They included a $30 gratuity for only two people who spent $150. First appetizer was really small. But everything else was a nice experience, music was nice, lights could’ve been dimmer.

Very strange / bizarre experience, refused to do my steak medium rare, and then delivered two medium rare steaks. My kid wanted medium-well. Waiter had to ask bartender if we could have sodas. They forgot about us, sat for 20 waiting for the bill. We ate at 4:30 when there were only a few other guests. It wasn't busy, just unmanaged and unskilled.

Went here for Dine LA. Turned out to be a nice surprise. We've walked by many times on our way to the Pantages Theatre but wasn't sure what to expect. We didn't have the warmest welcome on our arrival, but after that things looked up. We had a wonderfully nice waiter it was very attentive and accommodating. Both of us had the sole in a caper lemon white wine sauce. Absolutely delicious. We started with a beef carpaccio and ended with delicious desserts including a fudge cake with vanilla ice cream which was amazing and a burnt cheesecake which was also well above the standard restaurant dessert. I would definitely go back and definitely a great place to go before or after the theater.

6 of us went for a Dine LA experience. The food and the service was outstanding. The drinks were also very good. The ambience, not so much. The restaurant is located adjacent to the lobby of the hotel and next to the bar. It felt very much like a hotel and not a fancy restaurant. The place was practically empty except AT the bar which got more full as the night went on. Also, it was quiet and easy to chat amongst ourselves. We had beet salad, sole, trout croquettes, pork chops and pasta puttanesca. All the food was delicious!

For a dine LA experience is actually pretty good. I’ve never been. I would totally go back regardless of dying week. Keep up the great work thank you so much for your unique experience.
