Wichita Falls Restaurants

Blue Skys and Golden Opportunity" is the motto of Wichita Falls, Texas a mid-size military city. Wichita Falls is historically a cow town, with cattle drives and cowboys moving through the area in the 1800s so it's obvious the town has several family owned steakhouses offering succulent cuts of beef and patio dining. Wichita Falls walking downtown has shopping, art and dining. Here you will find locally owned sandwich and coffee shops, gourmet confections and draft houses along with some of the town's best barbeque. Known for their ribs, get them before they sell out. It's not all Texas classics, you can also find Greek, Mexican, Japanese, a Mediterranean bistro and a schnitzel restaurant.
