Great service, staff were excellent, food was amazing. We will definitely be making another trip. They had live music whilst we were there, the performer was amazing and made the night. The restaurant was busy but we never felt rushed perfect

This is not the first time I’ve been for afternoon tea at the Dovecote restaurant and as always it was a lovely afternoon. The setting is superb, Resturant and surrounding areas are spotlessly clean, food was excellent, staff very professional and friendly and the afternoon tea offers very good value for money . Looking forward to my next visit.

We needed a table that we could book for 8, then 9 people on the day in Derby city centre for 6.15 pm! The venue very kindly did not insist on deposits even though we increased the numbers. We had friends coming on foot, by car, train and Uber. The whole experience was very comfortable for a chilly rainy evening in October, lovely service, cocktails and food! The special dish was Zebra which is both unique and unusual. That raised a lot of interest. Recommend the beef dripping chunky chips! Thank you very much, we had a lovely evening with our friends.

Good food, a great selection and felt homely. We would come back again
