Lydney Restaurants

The food was wonderful; the staff were helpful, friendly and not intrusive and my Champagne Colada was a thing of beauty! My sister and I had a fabulous time and she’s not easily pleased. I’d recommend the shepherd’s pie - wow!

Excellent service and food experience. Always excellent quality! Thank you for making memories for the family.

The best restaurant ever! The steak? Omg you will not be disappointed 😍 The staff are all lovely and very informative. Thank you so much for a lovely evening.....it was well worth the 1 hour drive!

From walking into the restaurant to leaving, the experience was first class. Ambience was bright & cheery with non-intrusive background music. The decor was tasteful in a Japanese style with albeit fake branches & greenery, but not in any way tacky. The staff were brilliant with no hesitation in recommending dishes & explaining styles & even offering to lightly torch some of the raw fish dishes for concerned eaters. The food was absolutely delicious & we will definitely be returning to work our way through the menu. To top it off we all thought it was good value, which these days is a rare thing!

great service, great food and a great view of the river. workers are kind and it was quite busy but still not a long wait on food. 10/10
