This is a beautiful restaurant set in a magnificent building. The food is very nice, we each had a starter and a main course. Everything is well presented and very clean. My son is a diagnosed coeliac and there was a bit of an issue with the gluten free beer being labelled as containing gluten but this was dealt with very quickly and efficiently and it was found to be a fault with the manufacturer, not the restaurant. The manager couldn't have been more helpful and went above and beyond to resolve the issue. We were very grateful for that. We look forward to visiting again.

It’s always a totally welcoming, enjoyable visit to the Butchers Arms. It’s a lovely old pub serving beautifully cooked food, their wine list is way above average and the Mr. is happy with the beers on tap. What more does one need? A lovely garden setting - yes that’s there too.

Fabulous atmosphere, beautiful food, attentive, friendly and efficient staff. We went here for our son's birthday last night and everything was perfect.

A very nice restaurant, very clean, nice atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We were shown to our reserved table very quickly, a short wait after ordering but the quality of the food made it very worthwhile. The menu is quite extensive catering for main meals or light lunches, the food is of a very high standard, fresh vegetables and local butchers meats. Very good lunch, would definitely recommend.
