Just here for the fish & chips and french onion 😋 Had a nice little dinner with the parents at @maggieswestminster with my #dinearoundmaryland membership! Enjoyed a bunch of apps— especially their french onion soup! Fried shrimp entree was delicious and lightly breaded, meatloaf was flavorful, and the fish & chips were a HUGE portion and they were so crispy! I unintentionally arrived almost an hour early for my reservation. I was ready to leave but was made to feel very welcome to go to a table and wait for my friends. Two of ordered french onion soup and a garden salad, both were excellent. I loved the generous cheese topping. The salad was super fresh and had a lot of components. My friend ordered the fish and chips, which was a generous serving and super tasty...perfectly fried, and not at all greasy. She shared a bite and it was delicious. Our server was outstanding. I can't wait to go back!

Went for brunch. We had reservations but they kept saying host would be coming. After 10 minutes just standing there a young man stood behind what looked like a host stand and stared at us. We approached him, said we had reservations. He pointed to a table across the room. I said - you want us to go there? He shook his head. Wow, if that’s not offputting. Our waitress was better. The food was good and the dessert was as well. We were there for my friends birthday but they never asked (it was on the open table reservation) who knows if they ever acknowledged that!

Maxine, thank you for celebrating your friend's birthday with us at Maggie's Restaurant. We sincerely apologize for the poor greeting you received when you arrived - that's not the welcoming experience we want for our guests, especially when you had reservations, and it was for a special occasion. While we are glad to hear your waitress provided better service, and that you enjoyed the food and dessert, we clearly missed the mark on acknowledging the birthday celebration. Since reading your review, you've spoken to our General Manager, but we would like to say again - thank you for your time, and we cannot wait to see you again soon!

Maggie’s has great food, but the level of service cancels that out. Dirty dishes aren’t taken from the table, oblivious waitresses, used glasses left on the table. Why would I tip generously? I have no problem paying for great food, but if the service and wait times are horrible why would I go back?

I made a reservation 2 days prior to the dinner date. I specifically asked for a table in their dining room, but when we arrived, a sign directed us to the bar entrance - as the entire dining room was closed for 2 big parties. They sat us near the bar with tables very close to one another. I felt so bad as our friends had dressed up. We had to raise our voice to talk over the noise. My friend's margarita was watered down and weak. Her husband's "steak frites" was about 50% fat and tendon. My husband's bistro chicken tasted like it was covered with a strong vinegar sauce. We had several great experiences before this one, which is why we invited our friends. It was just unfortunate that several things went wrong that night, that had never happened before. It would have been nice if the restaurant called me to say my request for a dining room table was unavailable. We would have changed the date or location. On top of all this, a band set up in a small alcove, just as we were finishing eating, leaving no chance to sit and talk. So, that ended our night. We still plan to go back to Maggies, but this night was a fail for them.

The food was great. We had appetizers, soups, salads and entrees and all were outstanding. We had a table of 13 and we were able to carry on conversations without any problems. Highly recommend

We have been to Maggie’s several times and we are never disappointed. The food is so good, nice size portions. Our server Grace was outstanding. Well worth the drive down from Pennsylvania.

Food was delicious! We ate outside on the patio which is nice covered space but does not have scenic views of anything, just the parking lot. There were 4 of us and we all liked our meals. The deviled eggs and crab dip appetizers were fantastic too!

One of the people in our party did not like their dinner. Our waitress alerted the manager who came to our table to inquire. The manager could not be any more apologetic and removed the cost from our bill. We will definitely return another day. Wonderful customer service.

Mediocre food, way overpriced. arugula salad was small and overpriced at $15. Would not recommend to eat there. Poor quality for the prices.

The service was very slow. It took a long time for initial service. We ordered to Cokes and they had to be sent back because the syrup was stale. Onion soup had no flavor at all. Hamburger was cooked perfectly and good taste. Caesar salad was good. Doubtful for a return visit.
