Welcome to The Tarratine. We focus on providing an elegant yet approachable experience for our community. Created with skill and passion, the menu features an exciting array of seafood, streak, and signature items from our Executive Chef and his culinary team. This is within our historic gentlemen's social club, built-in 1907. Our spacious venue allows for individual experiences in various spaces, including our rooftop terrace. The Tarratine provides a variety of spirits, cocktails, local brews on tap, and an approachable wine list. A friendly gathering spot named after my grandfather, pepper martin. He loved socializing with friends and family over smoked fish and his own brew. We serve a collection of Maine favorites! Flavorsome, generously portioned food. Natively sourced, and always fresh. Seafood is our specialty. It was pepper's favorite too!

All of our meats are “naturally raised” meaning no steroids, antibiotics or hormones and “humanely raised” meaning room to roam, proper shelter and gentle handling. We make every effort to buy only sustainably harvested seafood, primarily from the Gulf of Maine.     Delicious food with a great variety of menu options. My favorites are the tikka masala and curry dishes. Generous but not ridiculously large serving sizes. Many vegan and gluten free choices. Warm and inviting atmosphere. Diners can choose the heat level of menu items on a 1-10 scale. Helpful and pleasant staff. Ample parking. I’d go every week!

    We had a lovely dinner at the Tarratine Club. The waiter, Hudson, was so nice and accommodating.  The food was exceptional, from the steak to the  scallop dinner. The food is always consistently wonderful. We will be back!

    Pepper’s Landing was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Reserved for 6:15 but got there at 6:00. Seated immediately at a table overlooking the waterfront. Gabe, our fabulous server was friendly, attentive & efficient. Orono Tubular IPA was the best IPA I’ve tasted in years. The Lobster Stew was to die for. I used the delicious yeast roll to clean the bowl. My spouse ordered Fisherman’s Feast: breaded Calamari & breaded shrimp with a side of sweet potato fries & was overwhelmed. The leftover take home box must have weighed 5 pounds! I wish we lived in Old Town so we could eat at Pepper’s Landing every day!
