- PPatriciaVIPKey West / Florida Keys •16 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoHaven’t been here for at least 10 years and was pleasantly surprised at the level of food, ambiance, and service. Very welcoming host! Our birthday dinner was met with a nice, handwritten card at the table and a bit of fluff with the dessert. The setting is still one of the best on the island and simply stunning. The piano player had a varied selection at the perfect level of sound. We shared the pear salad which was inventive and very good. Bar Harbor Blonde oysters, as always, were terrific. Homemade bread with a blueberry composed butter was nice.Husband’s rack of lamb was perfectly cooked. Unfortunately our nice server mixed up my order and brought Cod instead of my order of filet mignon so I had a long delay for my dinner. Dessert was a unique apple w/mousse concoction and was very fun and good!Probably should have comped the dessert for the entree error but not. Otherwise our server was very welcoming and competent.More infoReading Room Restaurant at The Bar Harbor InnPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Bar Harbor•4.5

- MEMaineEaterNew York City •34 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 29, 2024An extraordinary meal from start to finish. Great cocktails, sublime salmon pate (think mousse), beautiful halibut over butternut squash pyre with roasted veggies and crispy kale, and lobster pot pie with what had to have been an entire lobster’s worth of meat under a a gorgeous puff pastry shell. Dessert was a butterscotch crème brûlée and beignets that levitated off the plate. Fantastic, reasonable wine list. We made a reservation for tomorrow night. Nuff said.More infoBrasserie LeBrunPrice: Expensive• French• Bar Harbor•4.8
- DDeniseMaine •1 review5.0Dined on Oct 24, 2024It took a month to get in and it was worth it. I had frequented the pond house when I was young (35 yrs ago) and I had been wanting to get back. It was as good as I remember. Staff got us in earlier than our reservation time, waitstaff were friendly and welcoming and the popovers and jam are the best I’ve had! Definitely worth the visit/experience.More infoJordan Pond HousePrice: Expensive• American• Bar Harbor•4
