Five prominent oaks that stood in a semi-circle on the front lawn gave the estate its original name: Five Oaks.     Our first time dining there since they opened. Service was prompt and friendly. We asked about wines so they sent the sommelier over who was extremely helpful and friendly. The food came out prepared perfectly and was delicious. Portions were the perfect size, and we had to take some home. Good value for the money. The wine was significantly marked up but we find that everywhere. We will definitely return.

    This is our second time her since it reopened. Everything is absolutely perfect. We sat in the bar and ordered off the select 2 menu. The 5 shrimp cocktail were firm and cold and delicious. The twin filets literally melted in your mouth. The coffee is perhaps the best we have ever had anywhere. Would love to buy the beans they use. We are very particular and judgmental about restaurants. Few hit the top note for everything but Hyde Park does. Can't wait to return
